Hello Moms and Dads!
My son just turned 11 months and I am asking you for any strategies for transitioning to chopped foods? He loves Cheerios, toast, yogurt, and his baby food. I try each day to introduce a food that is chunkier, but he gags and usually throws it up. I find it interesting because he will chew the Cheerios and toast, but doesn't like the feeling of say a piece of blueberry or carrot. How do I help him to chew these smaller foods and get past this gag reflex?
I am not forcing him, but I do try it each day to help him to get used to it. ANy ideas??
Thank you, Dawn
